Dear Parents, Guardians and Students:

Welcome to A. Philip Randolph Campus  High School. We offer students a college preparatory experience within the context of a supportive learning community. Our focus is to engage students in a challenging academic program that has students excelling in the fields of science, engineering and the humanities. Our students are exposed to meaningful community service and internship experiences that allow them to shadow health care professionals. Our location on The City College of New York (CCNY) campus affords students an opportunity to attend college courses, seminars and special events that serve to enrich their high school experience. Qualified students can earn up to 15 college credits during their high school years.

Our school was established in 1979  as the first educational collaboration between the Board of Education and The City College of New York. The high school is open to all New York City residents, and more than 90% of our graduates attend college. Our goal has been to collaborate with our community partners to offer a first rate quality education, set high expectations, and foster a good character for all our students to excel. Each year, our dedicated staff endeavors to provide a rich curriculum in that equips our students with the content and skills necessary to interact in the modern world.  We expect all our students to graduate A. Philip Randolph Campus High School with Advanced Regents Diplomas that affirm their ability to think critically, synthesize knowledge, evaluate what they learn, and seek ways to serve our communities. Our assortment of extracurricular activities, PSAL sports, arts programs, and community service opportunities accommodate many interests and assist our students in cultivating the social skills, confidence, and aptitude for effective leadership.
